WP2: New and improved methods for individual trial design
In WP2, currently used methods and analysis methods for small clinical trials will be assessed, and novel trial designs will be developed. The focus of this WP will be on optimization strategies for individual trials, whereas WP3 focuses on series of studies.
In particular, researchers of WP2 will focus on:
- Recommendations for optimal randomisation strategies for clinical trials;
- New methodology to integrate evidence from multiple endpoints;
- Improved sequential and adaptive designs for small clinical trials;
- Adapted standards of evidence on a clinical trial level.
