Symposium on Small Populations

The European Union has funded three international, multidisciplinary research consortia aiming at the efficient assessment of the safety and/or efficacy of a treatment for small population groups that have just recently started: ASTERIX, IDEAL and InSPiRe. All three projects involve an inspiring network of clinical trial experts involving all relevant stakeholders including academia, industry, regulators, and patient advocacy groups.

This joint symposium shall engage all relevant stakeholders and provides a forum for the participants of the three projects but also external researchers to identify the bottlenecks for small population research and promising approaches to efficiently overcome them.
